The pins had it coming.

Terror Lanes opened, and the Ofrendites came.

One thing became very clear, very quickly. This is a competitive bunch.

Zen, Tree, Chppy, Sio, Ziva, and plenty of others tried their hand at bowling. And then... they discovered the arcade.

Things escalated.

Those who came for the music and shenanigans enjoyed the tunes, the dancing, and the conversation. Those who came to win? Well, let's just say some people took their virtual bowling very seriously.

In the end, Zen walked away with the Terror Lanes trophy.

This time.

There's already been trash talking in Discord, challenges for a rematch, and even serious discussion about forming a bowling league.

A bowling league. Seriously.

Maybe we've created a monster.

Zen, enjoy that trophy while you can.

October Has Taken Hold of Ofrenda

Something has happened to Ofrenda. The paths are full of pumpkins, the trees have dressed for autumn, and a Headless Horseman has taken up residence outside the gallery. Apparently even the local ghosts are making an effort this year.

A new face outside the gallery. Well, almost.

Elsewhere, mist drifts between the pumpkins, trees shimmer with color, and floating umbrellas make perfect sense to absolutely nobody. It's a good time to take the long way around the region.

There's no schedule for wandering. Come see what October has done to the place.

October 12–18 · The stars are behaving badly

The Ofrenda Horrorscope

Your weekly forecast of romantic miscalculations, workplace absurdities, and decisions the universe would prefer not to be associated with.

Aries

You have mistaken a minor inconvenience for a declaration of war. Before you assemble your allies, consider that the printer may simply be out of paper.

Taurus

A luxurious evening of doing absolutely nothing is threatened by someone saying, “We should make plans.” Lock the door. Dim the lights. Become unavailable.

Gemini

An old flame may reappear with a suspiciously casual “hey.” The stars recommend remembering why their number was saved as DO NOT ANSWER.

Cancer

You will sense that someone is upset before they know it themselves. This is impressive, but you are not required to adopt every stray emotion you find.

Leo

Someone will steal your thunder this week. Let them have it. Your entrance is scheduled for later, and frankly, the lighting will be better.

Virgo

Your attempt to fix one tiny problem will reveal seventeen others. Step away from the spreadsheet before you start assigning consequences to people alphabetically.

Libra

A charming stranger has excellent manners, beautiful eyes, and at least three red flags. You will call them “interesting.” The universe calls this a pattern.

Scorpio

You will learn a secret you were never meant to hear. For once, your greatest power is doing absolutely nothing with it. Terrifying, isn’t it?

Sagittarius

A spontaneous decision will become a story you tell for years. Leave out the part where you ignored four perfectly reasonable warnings.

Capricorn

Your competence has once again been mistaken for a willingness to do everyone else’s work. Practice this ancient spell: “That sounds like your problem.”

Aquarius

Your latest idea is either visionary or deeply impractical. Unfortunately, you have already ordered supplies. May the return policy be merciful.

Pisces

Your intuition says something is wrong. Your imagination has already written a seven-season psychological thriller about it. Ask one normal question first.

The stars are not liable for emotional damages, impulsive purchases, or texts sent after midnight.
