Something is stirring
There is something about September that makes the shadows feel a little longer.
Maybe it is the cooler air, the earlier darkness, or the unmistakable feeling that autumn is quietly creeping closer. Around Ofrenda, the Abbey and Cemetery already seem ready. To be fair, they have been preparing for this all year.
This week, we are gathering stories, photographs, music, and perhaps a few ghosts. Welcome back to The Ofrenda Dispatch.
Tell us your ghost story
Ofrenda is calling for ghost stories.
Send us your eerie encounters, unsettling memories, family legends, unexplained moments, and tales of things that refuse to stay dead. They can be frightening, strange, sad, funny, or simply something you have never quite been able to explain.
Selected stories will become part of Whispers of Ofrenda, an audio story walk hidden around the Abbey and Cemetery. Visitors will be able to discover each tale and hear it brought to life in the place where it waits.
Send your story to Terabyte Amour in world. Names may be included or kept private.
Every ghost deserves somewhere to haunt. Apparently, some of them are getting exhibition space.
A little more time
The planned gallery exhibit opening has been postponed. We will share a new opening date as soon as it is ready.
Art will happen. It is simply making a dramatic entrance later than expected.
Show us Ofrenda through your eyes
The September Photo Challenge is still open, and we want to see Ofrenda through your eyes.
Take a photo anywhere on Ofrenda Nocturna and add it to the September Photo Challenge shared album on Primfeed using #OfrendaPhotoChallenge.
Landscapes, portraits, event photos, strange discoveries, quiet corners, and gloriously questionable decisions are all welcome. Enter as often as you like, but each person receives one entry in the prize drawing.
Photos must be submitted by September 30.
Follow the music
Across Primfeed and Discord, twenty people told us what was most likely to lure them off the path at Ofrenda.
Music coming from somewhere unexpected won with six votes. A hidden spot with “interesting” animations followed closely with five.
Apparently, unexpected music is the fastest way to lose an Ofrenda visitor. The interesting animations probably finish the job.

What is happening
Medea at the Adequate Gatsby
Start the week with Medea at the Gatsby on Monday evening.
Pop Up Makina on Cock Rock
Retro is putting the decks somewhere completely sensible. On top of a giant Cock Rock.
Expect ninety minutes of North East England and Spanish Makina, Happy Hardcore, euphoric melodies, hard kicks, and complete nonsense. Down below, there will be a boat full of muppets, dodgy dancing, and absolutely no seriousness.
Wacky Weekender dress code: bananas, aliens, ridiculous outfits, and anything else that proves dignity was never part of the plan.
Fast. Fun. Slightly daft. Exactly how it should be.
Afterneath turns one
On September 26, Afterneath celebrates its first anniversary with an entire lineup of guest DJs.
More details are coming soon, but expect a full day of music, beautiful chaos, and whatever waits on the other side. Bring a friend. They deserve to know what you have been doing down there.
